American born photographer / conceptual artist: born 1955 in Jersey City.

A street photographer for 40 years Strazza studied conceptual art and photography with Sandy Skoglund and array of master photographers and their proteges, including H. Katz, master student of Walker Evens, in Hartford, Ct. in the mid 70’s. Strazza’s printing skills were shaped by teachers who were friends to Adams, and also the teachings of Picker.

First recognized for his portfolio of 35mm black and white street photographs of NYC’s lower Manhattan, his portfolios have expanded into other formats and styles including his Minox series.

Strazza’s photographs are in collections of both private art collectors and major corporate companies, locally and internationally, including over 20 photographs in the famous Klein collection at the Kunstwerk Art Museum in Germany.
